Although this was a shorter book, this one is probably my favorite of the Baltimore Banners series. Well. One of my favorites. I probably say that about almost every book I read at this point.This is the story of Ian and Kayli. Kayli is a farm girl. She lives on her family farm and takes care of it along with her brother, when he is around, and her niece. Ian is a hockey player who got roped in to taking care of his twin nieces while his sister goes on vacation. This is how he meets Kayli.
On paper they would be the worst couple ever. But once they meet and spend time together, they realize how right they are for one another. This is a cute HEA story about two people who seem more real than the usual characters in novels. Check it out.

This is my favorite book in this series. I loved the main characters - Kayli was very strong and Ian was determined and adorable. I had no problems buying into the plot and the I liked how the main characters were from two totally different worlds. Well done.
Fell in love with Ian when he was helping AJ out in the previous book!!! 4am reading... trying to finish book... that good!
I just finished reading the three books in this series about the Baltimore Banners. They were all with a different theme, but still connected. Love the style of the writing and was engrossed in each story. I actually read one right after the other. Hope there will be more books coming in this series; I am more than hooked!
Good characters, nice story, just nothing that reached out and pulled me in. Very little about hockey, but heroine was interesting, as she ran the family farm
I was totally turned off this jook in the first chapter. Twin girls.. obviously pre-teen by their behavior, in FFA? I think the author should have said
4-H.. which is for all ages. FFA is strictly High School aged kids.
Strange hockey story that isn't about hockey. Really good though. I would have liked to know that Jake came back safely.
And what's this about calling California' Cali? I was raised in California and except for in some of these stories, have never heard of Cali. It's like calling San Francisco Frisco. Not done.
I am always looking for romance books based around Ice Hockey. What can I say? They are always hot to me. I stumbled across this new author's work and I am very pleased I did. Absolutely loved, loved the stories. Not so much covered on the ice hockey story but a great interaction between the 2 main characters involved in the storyline.
The covers to the books are rocking hot and very well done in my eyes. Great job Lisa and I look forward to reading more of your books )
